Oberhasli Dairy Goats
The Oberhasli is an old Swiss breed of dairy goat, once known as the, "Swiss Alpine." They are easily recognized by their distinctive color and excellent disposition.
Our Oberhaslis have many of the country's leading herds in their backgrounds.
We are very proud of our beautiful, productive goats! We are busily focusing on expanding the genetic base of our herd very selectively, choosing any additions to add specific traits to offspring and our herd.

We are very much looking forward to the growth of our herd, and really enjoy showing and participating in DHIR milk test and Linear Appraisal.
American, Purebred, and Experimental Oberhaslis
Our American Oberhaslis come from long lines of high quality, high performance bloodlines. It is so good to see the hard work of so many expert breeders, working to bring this amazing breed back from the brink of extinction. Since Oberhaslis were once included in Alpine herdbooks, many bloodlines were diluted at some point in time. Fortunately, ADGA allows these animals to be bred up to a status of purity that, while less pure than Purebred, is far above Grade or mixed-breed goats.

Our Purebred herd is still very small, due to the difficulty of finding purebred herds with show, Linear Appraisal, or milk test records. We have very high standards for any goat joining our herd, so we expect great things from our Purebred goats, too.

Our Experimentals are part of a unique genetic anomaly that makes a pure chestnut goat. Since this occurs so rarely, several breeders are experimenting with these rare goats to try and help determine the cause of the coloring. This part of our herd is also very small, due to the scarcity of these animals, but we are looking forward to expanding.
