Oberhasli Does

Here are the does currently in our herd:

Sparkling Acres Justa Sparkle, 03/13/2011, LA 85 +VV+ @ 03-04
"Sparkle," came to us with the understanding that it was possible she might not be able to give us any kids. We have all been giving it a shot, just in case, so with luck, we hope to add more of her wonderful genetics to our herd. We also have one of her granddaughters, In Theory Farscape, shown below.
CH Sparkling Acres Carolina Jazz, 03/25/2012, LA 86 +V+E @ 03-04
"Carolina," came to us while attending the ADGA National Show in 2016. As admirers of the Sparkling Acres herd, we jumped on the opportunity to add such a productive doe to our herd! With us, she has earned one unrestricted leg at the Virginia State Fair, and two at the 2017 NCDGBA Memorial Day Weekend show! So, she is now a permanent champion! She is such a productive doe that I have to milk her the night before and often the morning of her show. She has a very capacious, well supported udder, with amazing texture. Now that we are participating in DHIR (Dairy Herd Improvement Registry), we are routinely impressed with her results. This lactation will be quite a memorable one. And to top all of this, she is a very sweet, affectionate doe, who definitely earns all her love and affection. (She's definitely my favorite, can you tell?)
Sparkling Acres Legato Breeze, 03/12/2016
"Legato," came to us in the spring of 2016 as a cute little kid. She is blossoming into a gorgeous dry yearling, and we really look forward to seeing her kids in the spring of 2018. She has done very well at shows already, and won Junior Grand Champion at the Virginia State Fair, though she unfortunately did not receive her junior leg as there were only eight juniors in the AOP show. She brings very valuable genetics to our herd, and we look forward to watching her mature.
Sparkling Acres Largo Jade, 04/13/2016
"Largo," also came to us in the spring of 2016, as a reservation. Her dam is a gorgeous black doe with routinely high LA scores (90 EEEE @ 05-05). Like her half sister, we are very much looking forward to seeing her mature and seeing her kids in the spring of 2018.
In Theory Farscape, 04/18/2016
"Farscape," came to us from our friends at In Theory Farm. As mentioned above, she is the granddaughter of Sparkle. She is a gorgeous, long doe with a very nice, wide and flat rump like her grandmother. We are really pleased with her high level of production and udder capacity. Already, she milked over 8lbs per day at peak, which is nothing to sneeze at for a first freshener! She has already won her junior leg, so just needs two unrestricted legs to become a finished champion.
